Medical marijuana is legal in Maryland. At the time of this posting, the product is not available but is expected to be available soon. Nonetheless, if you are considering this product now is the time to get prepared and certified.

This is the link to the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commision (MMCC). They are responsible for the laws regarding medical marijuana and there will be more information for you here also MMCC general information

  1. Get prepared to register. You will need an electronic copy  of a valid US government issued photo such as a license or passport. Proof of a Maryland address. An scanned copy of a recent photo and the last 4 digits of your social security. Please note that if you are  a hospice patient, you may have your attending submit a letter on hospice letterhead. You will then need to go to this page to register: MMCC Registration Link
  2. After completing the registration you will receive a confirmation by email.
  3. You will then need to receive a written certification from a registered provider. Currently we are registered as a provider and can complete this certification. You must first be evaluated for this to happen. After your evaluation, if you meet the criteria a certification will be completed.
  4. Once this is successfully completed, you must visit a Maryland  licensed dispensary. After verifying your registration you should be able to receive a 30 day supply of medical marijuana. If your certification is not used within 120 days of issuance it will become null and void.
